WOW...worked in the garden from 10:30 till 3:30 with only a 1 hour break. I am DONE. Kaput. No energy at all. I will probably feel a lot better after I get my shower, which I will do once the kids are done with their baths/showers. But I got a lot done. Azaleas are done being weeded. Next they need to have the tarp laid over the ground, boarder bought and placed, then mulching will need to be done. I think there is one more area that may need to have some weeding done, but I am gonna wait till it is in the shade. Plus we got a lot of Erika's Fairy Village put together :D I'll post the pictures up on Facebook, as I have a LOT of pictures. BUT, I'll be lucky if I am in any shape to walk the dogs tonight.
Food today:
Chocolate Croissants that I made Salmon, asparagus, and pinapple for lunch. Pork chops and unknown veggie for dinner.
I'll edit for snacks and such later.
Now to my shower! |

Okay, didn't do bike or weights yesterday, but I did walk for a mile, and tried to leash train our dogs. Keeping them from running away and yanking them back to me exercised my arms, and the walk gave my legs some exercise. Today we are gonna walk again and visit some horses.
Ate yesterday: 1/2 bowl of Special K with Strawberries Chicken Sandwich and fries for lunch (went to chick filet after running a bunch of errands) Almond Bar for snack Beef and Broccoli for dinner PB&J sandwich for a late snack |

Okay. 12 minutes on the bike, 2.75 miles rode. 5 sets of 30 arm crunches with 3 lb weights.
Breakfast: 1 bowl Special K with Strawberries Lunch: Chicken Hot Dog on whole wheat bun, some cheese cubes, and broccoli and cauliflower with ranch dip. Snack: Almond Bar Dinner: New York Strip Steak cooked on the grill, Green beans, and 2 whole wheat rolls.
darn it, I am not working out every day. I have got to push myself to get out of bed. The kids have been letting me sleep in till 8:30/9:00 in the mornings (Erika has been sleeping, Conlan playing quietly). I have got to get myself out of bed every day by 7:30 or so, so I can exercise and take a shower, like I did this morning. I had Conlan come downstairs with me, and he played with his train table downstairs while I did my exercising. I need to do that more often, instead of turning over and hitting the buzzer.
Oh, And....
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY EVERYONE!!!!
Now for fireworks :D

Okay...just did 7 minutes and 1.6 miles on the bike. On top of that, I did 5 sets of 30 arm curls, holding 3 lbs weights.
Ate for breakfast: 1 bowl of Special K cereal with strawberries and 2% milk. I am NOT going lower than 2% :P Anything lower than 2% tastes like water to me.
And I haven't worked out the last few days. Did nothing yesterday. Day before I spent about a half hour dancing after my friend's wedding. On Friday, I spent the afternoon scrubbing the living room rug and vacuuming the whole house.
Lunch: garlic crab meat and peas with mushrooms. slice of homemade strawberry pie Handful of chips for a snack Small bowl of Teriyaki Chicken for dinner |

Only worked out this morning today. I got myself out of bed and worked out for about 7 minutes. Did 1.7 miles on the bike. Not bad. Didn't feel as sore, and could have probably gone a full 10 minutes if I wasn't in a rush to get the kids up and out of bed. Spent 4 hours out in the sun though this afternoon, so feel extremly drained and tired, so couldn't get myself motivated to do a 2nd workout. |

Total of 10 minutes and 3.2 miles on the bike. I didn't do as much as I did yesterday, and only got my heartrate up to 136 today, but I will give myself credit. I did it besides having a day long migraine. I made myself do it, even though all I wanted to do was lay down. Yes, I had to break it up into 2 5min sections, but that was all I could handle. Raising my heartrate causes the pulsing in my head, and thus the pulsing of the migraine to increase.
But I did it...and I will do it again tomorrow. I have noticed though, that doing this, I am eating a little bit less than I have been. Don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.Current Mood:  migrainey

Many people probably think I disappeared. I haven't. I just can't think of what to write. BUT, this is what i am gonna start doing. I am gonna start keeping an exercise journal on here. It isn't gonna be much, just what I did to exercise...but hopefully it will keep me encouraged to do some exercising on a regular basis. I just got a new exercise bike (thanks to my brother in law) and I want to try to encourage myself to use it every day.
I used it twice today, for a total of 16 minutes, and about 4 miles biked. I averaged about a mile in 4 minutes, and kept a heartbeat of between 140 and 160 beats per minute.
I know 16 minutes isn't much, and I feel extremely out of shape, but I am determined to build myself back up. I biked first thing when I woke up today, and I biked again just a little bit ago. I think, if I can get my ipod back up and running, and load a book or some music on it, it will go a whole lot more smoothly. I NEED to turn it over to Miguel and let him download a whole bunch of music off it, and just tell him the type of music I like to listen to. I wonder if he has any Jpop cds. All of my jpop cds are at school, and have been played so much (LOVE playing them for my kids. Half of them adore them, the other half get annoyed because they can't understand the words), that 2 of them only play half the time now. *sighs* and I only have the 4 that Lindley was kind enough to burn for me. Yes, I still have those :P
I think, after this week, I will also keep a bit of a food journal, trying to keep track of what I am eating. This week, I am NOT going to do that, because I know I am going to be eating too much fast food type stuff, just because Erika has enrichment all week. Maybe if I do this, I will be better at what all I eat.
I hope you all don't get too annoyed at me doing this, and take me off your friends list cause of it.

Snow this evening will transition to snow showers late. Low 23F. Winds NNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 80%. 2 to 4 inches of snow expected.

Scattered snow flurries and snow showers possible before noon. Becoming sunny later. Cold. High 38F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 30%. 
AND....We can already see flakes of snow falling with the rain. THe kids and I are very excited. But this means I need to get today's chore run out of the way early. We are out of toilet paper, milk, and a few other things. I had planned to get them today...now it is more important that I do.
I am so excited! I am ready for a snow day. And I think, if we do get a snow day, I am gonna take it off. I have a half day owed me, and I can make the other half of the day up easily in a week, since I stay an extra hour after school every day.

And I got a notice today....I have made my last payment on my college loan!! It got paid off about 6 months early! *dances* happy happy me.

I have had a migraine for the last three days. I woke up this morning and it was still there. We will see how I am by lunch time, and it if is STILL there, I will be calling the doc to get the shot in the butt. >.< I hate this.

We put in all the furnature except the headboard and the mirror. The headboard will wait until we get the new mattress and boxspring and bedframe. I am starting to lean towards one of those thicker queen mattresses. And the mirror will be installed when Kevin has the time to do it.
